The installation process of the ice and fire board is as follows:


1、 Construction preparation

Base treatment


Ensure that the wall base is flat, firm, and free of oil stains and dust. If the wall surface is uneven, multi-layer boards or plywood should be used as a base.


According to the design requirements, snap out the keel fixing line at the base layer to determine the installation position of the skeleton.

Ice and fire board, calcium silicate board skeleton, steel nails, structural adhesive, marble adhesive, suction cup, decorative paper, sealant, scraper, etc.


2、 Installation steps

Install the skeleton


Choose calcium silicate board as the skeleton, with a spacing of about 80 millimeters, and fix it to the wall with steel nails to ensure absolute flatness of the base layer.


Paste ice and fire board


Glue application: Apply structural glue evenly on the back of the ice and fire board, with a thickness of about 1 millimeter, and temporarily fix it with marble glue.


Push and fix: Push the board onto the wall, use suction cups to attach the surface, and adjust the position to make it flat.


Bottom up installation: It is recommended to install from bottom to top, and the entire or independent parts should be completed at once.


Cleaning and sealing


Cleaning the board surface: After installation, clean the dirt, fingerprints, and adhesive marks on the board surface.


Apply masking tape: Apply masking tape along the gaps, evenly apply sealant, scrape flat with a scraper, and then remove the masking tape.


3、 Precautions

finished products protection


Before the structural adhesive dries completely, avoid hitting or rubbing the ice and fire board to prevent displacement.


Cover and protect easily contaminated areas with plastic film, and install safety railings in areas prone to scratches and impacts.


fireproof treatment


Ensure that the finish of the ice and fire board is made of flame-retardant materials and has undergone fire-resistant treatment, with a combustion performance level of B1.


Edge processing


PVC lines, aluminum alloy clamps or straight seam splicing can be used for edge closure, and matching components are used for installation of internal and external corners.


Cutting and splicing


When cutting boards, if the length direction needs to be aligned, the pattern should be smooth and avoid the horizontal line of sight; The adhesive used for bonding must comply with the specifications.


4、 Quality requirements

Flatness: The board surface is flat without any warping or hollowing.


Gap treatment: The gap is uniform, with a sealant filling thickness of about 1 millimeter, without any traces or dirt.


Color uniformity: Within the same room, ice and fire boards with similar colors and patterns should be selected.
